MAY CONTEST WINNER
Congratulations to SafeTruck’s May 2013 Oversize Load Winner — Nancy Russell of FUJIMO Transport, Inc., located in Five Points, Alabama. FUJIMO Transport utilizes SafeTruck OSL banners and flags for heavy hauling, specialized transport and its dump truck fleet, and purchases its SafeTruck products at Covington Heavy Duty Parts in Opelika, AL.
In March, Ms. Russell visited our SafeTruck booth at the 2013 Mid-America Truck Show in Louisville, KY and spoke with Michael Mosby, SafeTruck President/CEO. During the conversation, Mr. Mosby asked if Ms. Russell could email pictures of a SafeTruck OSL banner over time to see how the banner holds up over the road miles. She agreed and entered the following winning pictures in our contest.
March 28, 2013, Ms. Russell emailed Mr. Mosby to tell him that they installed a new SafeTruck OSL banner on a 99 KW W900, a 7 axle unit attached to a 2004 Fontaine RGN that does a lot of oversized loads. The banner was installed onto the rig at the FUJIMO yard and immediately went out on a heavy haul for 1,401 miles from Anniston, AL to Nashville, TN to El Paso, TX.
On April 2, 2013, FUJIMO transported a 45,000 pound CAT Dozer D6R with DIMS of 20’ (l) x 12’ (w) x 11’ 6” (w) from Odessa, TX to Brighton, MN, totaling 1,667 miles.
On April 12, 2013, a 45,000 pound Volvo Wheel Loader L110G that was 35’ long by 10’ wide by 12’ tall was hauled 824 miles from League City, TX to Amarillo, TX.
