APRIL CONTEST WINNER
Congratulations to Michael Callahan of Martinsville, Illinois …he is SafeTruck’s April 2014 Oversize Load Contest Winner!
Mr. Callahan pulls loads on a daily basis for Schilling Brothers, Inc. John Deere’s Casey, IL location. Schilling Brothers has been serving the Illinois community since 1971, specializing in John Deere AG and Turf equipment.
Mr. Callahan’s winning entry is an 18 mile “dual” haul of a Sunflower Field Cultivator and an Unverferth Rolling Harrow from Annapolis, IL to Casey, IL. Total load weight was 22,500 pounds with an overall length of 58 feet. As a result of hauling two different pieces of equipment, width and height measurements varied. The Sunflower Field Cultivator was 14’ high and 14’ wide, while the Unverferth Rolling Harrow was approximately 1/3rd the cultivator’s height, but 2 feet wider at 16’, 2”. Mr. Callahan used a SafeTruck Oversize Load banner and 18” Red Jersey Flags. He purchases his SafeTruck products at Crossroads Truck Equipment in Effingham, IL.
