JANUARY CONTEST WINNER
Congratulations to Keith Flora of Lexington, Kentucky – SafeTruck’s January 2013 Oversize Load Winner! Mr. Flora drives for Wilson Equipment Co., delivering construction equipment to jobsites throughout Kentucky. Interestingly, Wilson Equipment Company has its beginnings in 1889 when B.B. Wilson founded the Wilson Buggy Company of Lexington. Today, Wilson Equipment is a distributor and rental center of heavy machinery for excavating contractors, pipeline contractors, homebuilders, highway contractors, general contractors, industrial, forestry, coal, mining/quarrying and many other industries.
January’s winning pictures are of an OSL haul of a Link Belt 210 Excavator that Mr. Flora transported over 118 miles from Lexington, KY to Prestonsburg, KY. The Link Belt 210 Excavator weighed 43,000 pounds alone, making his overall load grossing 96,060 pounds. Total DIMs on the load were 13’ 6” tall, 10’ 6” wide and 70’ long.
Mr. Flora utilizes SafeTruck’s oversize load banners and safety flags on his OSL hauls and purchases his SafeTruck products from Fleet Pride in Lexington, Kentucky.
