JULY CONTEST WINNER
Congratulations to Curtis Bradshaw of Bradshaw Trucking in Rotterdam, New York. He is SafeTruck’s July 2014 Oversize Load Contest Winner!
Mr. Bradshaw hauled an antique 1939 CATAPILLER D7 Bulldozer a short 10 miles from Schenectady to Clifton Park, NY. The overall gross weight was 54,700 pounds. The total load’s DIM’s was 10 ft. 2 in. wide, 12 ft. 8 in. high and 52 ft. long.
A bit of history….the Caterpillar D7 is a large, heavy duty track-type tractor designed and manufactured by Caterpillar Inc. Though it came in many configurations, it was most commonly sold as a bulldozer equipped with a detachable large blade. It was widely used by the Military as an earthmover during WWII.
For this haul, Mr. Bradshaw used SafeTruck’s Mesh Wide Load Banner on the front his truck, Vinyl Oversize Load Banner on the rear of the trailer and four Flo-Orange Mesh Flags all around. Mr. Bradshaw purchases his SafeTruck products from Capital Land Truck Parts in Rotterdam Junction, NY.
