FEBRUARY 2015 CONTEST WINNER
Congratulations to Chris Schenk of Mankato, Minnesota…SafeTruck’s February 2015 Oversize Load Contest Winner!
Mr. Schenk is owner and operator of Schenk Trucking, a transportation company that moves grain, feed and hay. His winning picture is a haul of Round corn stock bales driven 75 miles from Mankato to Zumbrota, MN. The overall DIMs were 14,000 pounds, 13’ tall, 10’ wide and 55’ long.
Mr. Schenk said the SafeTruck bungee banners and flags work great with the bales because they are easy to put on and off…and doesn’t hurt the product. Mr. Schenk told us, “In Minnesota, if you are hauling over 20 miles, you must have an OSL sign on the front of the truck and back of the load, as well as flags on all four corners. I get a lot of compliments about the SafeTruck flags. I was stopped by highway patrol at a check point and they were highly complementary about the banners and flags on my load. They said it looked very professional and I passed with flying colors! I’ve even gotten several other drivers to buy and start using SafeTruck banners and flags.” Mr. Schenk buys SafeTruck products at Westman Freightliner in Mankato.
