AUGUST CONTEST WINNER
Congratulations to Arnold Dorsey of Charleston, West Virginia…SafeTruck’s August 2014 Oversize Load Contest Winner!
Mr. Dorsey’s winning pictures are a load of U/G 138KV High Voltage Cable 2500KCM Copper that he hauled for New River Electrical Corp. New River Electrical Corp. is located in Charleston, West Virginia, but works nationwide, so the winning entries were driven in California. Total DIMs of the load was 90,000 pounds, 14 feet wide, 15 feet high and 48 feet long. Mr. Dorsey moved a total of 30 reels of cable, one to five miles from the lay down yard to various locations.
SafeTruck Quickmount Brackets and Flags were attached to the front bumper, as well as two Oversize Load Banners and four additional Safety Flags. Mr. Dorsey purchased the SafeTruck products from Golden Acorn Casino in Truck Stop in Campo, CA.
